I’m fully aware that you will pour your heart and soul into planning your wedding day. For me, when I turn up on the day, I want you to be rest assured that you will know what to expect of me. I don’t take my job for granted. To be invited to ones wedding day and have the responsibility to document it is huge and I absolutely absorb every opportunity to get creative. So, all those intricate moments you have no idea are happening; I will make it my duty to capture it all for you. It’s what I have almost dedicated a decade of my life doing and it’s simply what I love through and through.
It’s the morning of the day you’re getting married. You’re nervous, excited, terrified but you have all your best friends there and of course me, capturing it all. I’ll be with you roughly three hours before your ceremony to make sure I capture all those moments with the friends and family you know, love and trust. I absolutely love getting to meet everyone during this time.
The ceremony is the pinnacle of where all those excited nerves just peak. This is genuinely such an emotional, beautiful part of the day where you get to marry your best friend. I mean, what’s better than that?! Trust me, it won’t just be you crying. You don’t want to see me so I’ll be stealthily working to the max, as always.
So often I get told stories of group photos taking an hour or longer. No! Just no! Eight separate groups can often get smashed out in 20 minutes and the in between moments are gold. Don’t fret, a bit of careful planning before the wedding day and it’ll no longer be on your ‘worry list’.
The time to have some time to yourselves has arrived! I often hear my couples say that this is one of the best times during the wedding day. Not only will we capture some beautiful, natural photos together but this will be your first moment as husband and wife together away from everyone. It’ll be emotional!
The time to let your hair down and let loose on the dance floor has come. Beer will flow, shots will be had and the groom may even do a flip. This is undoubtably my favourite part of the day because I become more and more invisible as the night progresses and everybody get’s involved. Be warned – I LOVE getting right in the middle and capturing EVERYTHING! If the party is there, you’ll most definitely see me swarming around. All day coverage means I’m not going anywhere.
